Outdoor learning

Pupils enjoy a wide range of activities during outdoor learning sessions, such as nature walks, building bug houses and learning natural crafts from different cultures. Sessions can be linked to class topics, forming a connection between the classroom and outside that can make subjects come alive for children.

A focus on getting outdoors helps to increase children's physical activity levels, as well as being an interesting way to learn new skills and find out more about the world around us.

During Outdoor Learning, we went to our pond to see what creatures we could find!
