Family Learning

Family Learning is a great opportunity for parents and carers to find out how their children are being taught in school and ways that they can be supported at home, as well as joining in with some fun activities in school. It is a relaxed, friendly environment, and we encourage any parents interested to join in when the program is running.

Family learning sessions have provided lots of ideas for fun ways of learning. We've looked at numeracy games, such as 'spot the missing number' and had an exciting time counting how many different coloured smarties were in a tube and which colours had the most and least smarties. (It was especially exciting when we got to eat them!) We enjoyed playing shop to help recognise coins and sang number songs.

The children love getting to show their families what they can do in school, and playing games with their parents.
